To start your holiday you are met at the airport and driven to your apartment, given the keys, a quick show round and left to enjoy the place.

The apartment has 3 bedrooms so there is plenty of space for a family of 4 (or 5) - with the added bonus of giving everyone their own privacy; a lounge area, kitchen and dining area. There is also facilities to dine outside (seating up to 6 people). The apartment is fully fitted for your convenience including washing machine, iron and board, kettle, toaster, microwave, oven and hob. In the lounge area there is a TV, Video, DVD and CD player with a collection of films and music to suit all tastes. There is even a range of books left for your enjoyments.

The apartment is not in a complex but there is one nearby which allows you to use their pool and this has it's own bar/restaurant and supermarket. This gives you a perfect place to take in the sun, but not be subjected to laughing, shouting kids first thing in the morning if you like a lie in (a definite plus point for us).

Paraiso is only ten minutes walk to the beach and only 5 minutes to the nearest strip of restaurants and bars (if that isn't near enough, there is an Italian restaurant a few doors up and a Tapas Bar at the top of the road.

If you don't have money to burn on your holiday and like to eat in, there is a deli sandwich bar at the top of the road and all the local workers use this, so it must be good value for money (great food too). A small mini supermarket on the same road (again on a few minutes away) sells fantastic rotisari chicken and canary potatoes (yum).

On the 10 minute walk to the beach, you can take the route by the Travel Excursion Office and book yourself on a nice trip out on the water in the catamaran. If you like the water, then this trip, which leaves from Corralejo is a must. Included in the cost is a BBQ and free Beer and Soft drinks. It's a great day out.

At the harbour there are mini boats for hire which if you plan properly is a great place to have a picnic and fantastic way of soaking up the sun.

Back to the apartment itself it has a patio area which is surrounded by a wall which gives you plenty of privacy and acts as a sun trap. With a decent collection of CDs in the apartment you can lie back, listen to the music, read and sun worship.

I can't speak highly enough of the place and the fact that after my first visit I came home on the Wednesday and booked my next trip the following dday, is testamount to how much I can recommend the place. Last year we went for our two week holiday and this year we're going back TWICE.

After visiting Caleta de Fuste and staying in Paraiso, you really wont want to holiday anywhere else again.

I had a weeks holiday in Paraiso Villa last year and I would thoroughly recommend it. Although it is located only minutes walk from the restaurants and pubs the street it is situated on is very quiet. The beach is also only a very short walk from the villa. The villa itself is lovely - it felt like a real home from home - very nicely furnished with all the utensils that you need for a self catering holiday. It also has a large patio area where we dined several times. I had a lovely holiday and will definetely be going back.
