Wohnung zur Miete, 100 Meter bis zum Strand

No way could we recommend this property. On our arrival only one toilet roll - for a 4/6 person accommodation not acceptable. One used dishcloth, not even a little washing up liquid to start. No matches left to light the hob. Cheap plastic handled knives and forks that bent when you used them. The whole place smelt damp - cupboards, beds and linen. Shower head broken. Shower doors broken (dangerously so) and shower not clean. Every tap in the property was broken and leaked. Fridge was rusting. Washing machine rusting. Bathroom vanity unit warped with damp, wet inside. Back area facing the sea, one thin strip of concrete, difficult for 2 people to sit let alone 4/6 - facing a rubbish tip (old ironing board dumped, plastic crates, old metal strips). While we were there although it was not the owner's fault the weather was appalling - a hurricane from Spain. The house flooded - water pouring under the front door, down the hall and into a bedroom. Spent all day mopping up. Also the location map is incorrect - nowhere near the property. We have passed our comments onto the Agency HomeShortStay were very helpful at all times regarding booking this accommodation, and have promised to look into our comments.
